Went to have 2.rear tires cked for slow leaks. They had to be filled approximately every 4-6 wks. The man we got (front desk).tells me that the two driver's side tires need replacing, even though that's not what we asked about? He charges me $12.19 for a review of the tires, which neither my daughter-in-law or I asked for. Then I ask if he is going through check the rear tires. He gave me an estimate for the two tires @$280. Then after I finally got his attention during a conversation with his fellow employee, not a work conversation, just joking; I asked if he was going to check out the tires? He said just the one that didn't need replaced. They take the car in the shop then come and tell me that both back tires have nails in them but they won't patch them?? ???????????? So we left! At another shop having both rear tires repaired!
Cory, I apologize if we didn't communicate clearly to you that the tires that you wanted us to repair were in disrepair. Driver's Rear was dated 2005 and the passenger rear tire was showing signs of dry rot, tread wear down to 3/32nds of an inch, and two nails in it. While other vendors may take on the liability, our policy is such that we will not repair tires greater than 5 years old in age and tires that are in disrepair.
